This is set to be a very busy summer at the London Stadium following West Ham United’s relegation from the Premier League.

Hammers News can confirm that Manchester United are leading the race to sign Mateus Fernandes.

Crysencio Summerville has admirers at Old Trafford, too. Uncertainty also hangs over the heads of Jarrod Bowen, Tomas Soucek, Dinos Mavropanos, Taty Castellanos and many, many more.

Keiber Lamadrid – £1 million, Deportivo la Guaria

While this has not been officially confirmed just yet, The Standard reports that West Ham opted to trigger the £1 million option in the contract of the Venezuela international.

Sources in his homeland claim that Keiber Lamadrid will sign a five-year contract complete with a £20 million release clause.

Outs

Lukasz Fabianski – released

Veteran goalkeeper Fabianski was one of nine players West Ham confirmed – in an official statement on June 10 – who will not see their contracts renewed.

The 41-year-old leaves just five shy of 200 Premier League appearances in a Hammers shirt. Fabianski has plans to become a goalkeeping coach when he hangs up his gloves.

Adama Traore – released

The January signing from Fulham only joined the Hammers on a short-term, five-month deal. Unsurprisingly, after zero Premier League starts and 116 minutes of top-flight action, Traore’s contract will not be extended.

Tyron Akpata – released

Akpata was arguably a surprise name to feature on West Ham’s released list. A tough-tackling midfielder with a penchant for long-range rockets, Akpata surely won’t be short of interest.

Michael Forbes – Dundee United, free

After spending much of last season with Kevin Nolan at Northampton Town, Michael Forbes joins Dundee United on a two-year deal. The centre-back has one cap for Northern Ireland, and would have featured in West Ham’s 2023 FA Youth Cup final thrashing of Arsenal if not for an ill-timed injury.

Junior Robinson – released

A 22-year-old full-back, Robinson leaves having played 63 Premier League 2 matches for the Hammers. He endured forgettable loan spells at Livingston and Boreham Wood in 2025/26, tallying just seven appearances across both clubs.

Dan Rigge – released

Rigge, a former England Under-16 international, leaves having found game time in the reserves hard to come by. The midfielder played only three times in the Premier League campaign just gone.

David Chigwada – released

Chigwada joined West Ham from Manchester City in 2024. A reliable source of goals and assists for the Under-18s, he struggled to make the same impression at Under-21 level.

Tom Wooster

Wooster could be seen denying Jarrod Bowen at Rush Green in the spring. Despite training occasionally with Nuno Espirito Santo’s first-team, the Sheffield-born goalkeeper will be allowed to leave.

A talent, but West Ham have fellow shot-stoppers Finlay Herrick and Mason Terry making waves behind the scenes.

Callum Wilson – released

Watch this space. While Callum Wilson said goodbye to West Ham in the days after their relegation, Hammers News can confirm that the former England international has been offered a contract extension.

Wilson scored seven goals in 11 league starts last term.

Axel Disasi – end of loan

The Chelsea-owned Disasi might have stayed at West Ham if not for relegation. After impressing during half a season in East London, the Frenchman may secure himself a fresh start in England or Italy.
