West Ham United are set for a busy summer of incomings and ongoings following their relegation to the Championship.
Here is an extensive list of all the players reportedly on the Hammers’ radar heading into 2026/27.
Ivor Pandur – Hull City
Croatian shot-stopper Pandur was linked with West Ham United via the Italian press for a second year running. A key part of Hull City’s shock return to the Premier League, it always felt possible that Pandur’s place would come under threat if The Tigers opted to make wholesale changes to their squad, a la Sunderland in 2025.
The goalkeeper has since joined Rangers for a fee of £6 million.

Jordan James – Rennes
As Manchester United prepare to go all-in on Mateus Fernandes, the Hammers will need an all-action midfielder capable of contributing goals and assists from the centre of the park. James registered a combined 15 G/A on loan at Leicester City last season.
Despite the Foxes’ relegation, the Wales international claimed the Championship Young Player of the Season award too.
Formerly of Birmingham City, his future at parent club Rennes remains in doubt.
Taylor Harwood-Bellis – Southampton
West Ham reportedly saw a £12.5 million bid rejected by Southampton in January.
Now, after the Saints saw their promotion hopes scuppered by the ‘Spygate’ scandal, talkSPORT claim that Harwood-Bellis remains on West Ham’s radar. A ball-playing centre-half with a superb goalscoring record.
Alpha Toure – FC Metz
Hammers News can confirm that, before his departure, former head of recruitment Max Hahn recommended Alpha Toure to the Londoners. A versatile left-footed midfielder, he is expected to be available for around £6 million after Metz were relegated from France’s top-flight.
Moustapha Mbow – Paris FC
According to French publication RMC, West Ham are big admirers of Paris FC defender Moustapha Mbow. However, with a number of Premier League clubs also keen – Liverpool have been linked – Mbow may have better offers on the table.
Harrison Burrows – Sheffield United
According to Football League World, Burrows is an option to replace El Hadji Malick Diouf should the left-back leave after just one season in the capital.
Burrows has his critics at Sheffield United but, like Diouf, is an attack-minded full-back with a fine cross on him.
Ismael Badjie – VFL Osnabruck
Talented 20-year-old Badjie scored nine times as Osnabruck secured promotion to Germany’s second tier.
DeichStube reports that West Ham have made an ‘offer’, though Osnabruck are determined to keep Badjie in Lower Saxony.
Santiago Bueno – Wolves
Sport Witness reported at the end of April that West Ham had contacted Wolves about Uruguayan defender Santiago Bueno. Like with Mbow, however, Bueno is likely to receive further approaches from top-flight clubs.
One of the standout players in a poor Wolves side.
Eliezer Mayenda – Sunderland
Mayenda barely got a look in at Sunderland following the signing of Brian Brobbey. The athletic Spain Under-21 international scored 10 times in 25 starts as the Black Cats earned promotion in 2025, however.
Mayenda netted with a towering header in Sunderland’s 3-0 opening day win over West Ham last August.
In early July, he joined Rennes for an eye-watering £21.5 million.

Jan Ziolkowski – AS Roma
Polish youngster Ziolkowski appears determined to force his way into Roma’s plans. However, very much a back-up centre-back at the Stadio Olimpico, a loan move is not out of the question this summer.
Pape Moussa Fall – FC Metz
Like the aforementioned Toure, Fall is expected to leave. The rangy striker scored 14 times on loan at Belgian outfit La Louviere in 2025/26.
TEAMtalk say that West Ham are one of the frontrunners for Fall’s £5 million-rated signature.
Martin Adeline – ESTAC Troyes
The Daily Mail claimed that Martin Adeline had been lined up to succeed Mateus Fernandes.
Capped by France at Under-21 level, Adeline is an ‘exceptional’ talent renowned for his box-crashing ability as well as his diligent out-of-possession work.
Hamburg’s gain may be West Ham’s loss, having agreed a £3.5 million deal with Troyes.
Carlos Lopes Rodriguez – Alverca
West Ham are reportedly gathering information about Rodrigues. The teenager is viewed as one of the most promising defensive talents in Portugal.
Solly March – Free-agent
The highly-experienced winger is leaving Brighton and Hove Albion when his contract expires in July. The 31-year-old only played 38 minutes of Premier League football during an injury-ravaged final season at The Amex.
Callum Osmand – Celtic
After Daniel Cummings left for the Hammers in 2025, West Ham are looking at another Celtic kid a year on. According to The West Ham Way, the 20-year-old has emerged as a target.
Osmand, like March, endured a season beset with fitness issues. However, he returned in time to score one and assist another as Celtic snatched the title from Hearts on the final day.

Josh Mulligan – Hibernian
Extremely versatile, Mulligan has been compared to Gareth Bale and John McGinn at various points in his career. Now at Hibernian after leaving Dundee, the all-action dynamo has made the transition from rampaging wide man to midfield general.
Reporter Ben Jacobs wrote in early June that West Ham have lodged an inquiry.
Sydie Peck – Sheffield United
According to The Athletic, West Ham have been watching Sheffield United’s Sydie Peck for well over a year. One of the most complete midfielders in the Championship, the former Arsenal kid could reportedly leave Bramall Lane for around £20 million.
Dylan Lawlor – Cardiff City
The Athletic say that West Ham are admirers of the young Cardiff graduate. Capped six times by Wales before his 21st birthday, the ball-playing centre-back made 32 appearances as the Bluebirds secured promotion out of League One.
Bailey Rice – Rangers
There’s no relation, just so you know.
The Daily Record say that West Ham were keeping tabs on the 19-year-old midfielder, who has since extended his contract at Scottish giants Rangers.
Dael Fry – Middlesbrough
The first of a handful of centre-back targets mentioned by ExWhuEmployee.
It is alleged that Dael Fry was West Ham’s ‘top target’ and their ‘most realistic’ one too. A 28 year-old giant with over 250 Championship games under his belt, his contract runs out this summer.
By the time Birmingham City negotiated a contract, though, West Ham had opted against making a move.
Adam Webster – Free-agent
Brighton and Hove Albion confirmed as soon as the season ended that Webster would be on his way. Injuries meant he did not kick a ball in 2025/26, yet Webster was one of the Premier League’s best ball-playing defenders at his peak under Graham Potter and Roberto de Zerbi.
Ben Wilmot – Stoke City
The Stoke skipper is the third name put forward by Ex. Another ‘proven’ Championship talent, Wilmot’s future remains uncertain despite the Potters’ triggering an extension clause in his contract.
Cai McGunnigle – Hong Kong Football Club
A Scotland under-17 international playing in Far East Asia? McGunnigle’s journey is already a pretty unique one. The teenager reportedly caught West Ham’s eye during the recent Hong Kong Soccer Sevens tournament.
Leo Pereira – Flamengo
You can ignore this one. The Brazil international was mentioned as a potential target briefly but it has since emerged that Pereira will not be going to West Ham, after all.
His agent has clarified the situation, stating that the Hammers have admired his client in the past, but this is not a possibility which exists in a present.
Ethan Galbraith – Swansea City
One of the most technically-gifted midfielders outside of the Premier League. Former Man United kid Galbraith was outstanding in his debut season at Swansea and has now moved to Stoke City for a cool £10 million.

One-time Liverpool prospect impressed last season for play-off nearly-men Derby County. A stylish, skilful attacking midfielder/winger.
Re-joined the Rams on a permanent basis.
Arne Engels – Celtic
Celtic paid a club-record £11 million to sign Engels from Augsburg a couple of years ago. It is hard to see how West Ham now pay the sort of fee the Scottish champions would be looking for, with no shortage of interest in top-flight leagues.

West Ham have been linked with a quartet of Premier League men
Joe Willock – Newcastle United
The long-serving Willock is entering the final year of his contract. Only the second player to score in seven consecutive league games for the Magpies after [guess who?] Alan Shearer. That feels like a long time ago now though with injuries taking their toll.
Dom Ballard – Leyton Orient
Let go by Southampton in 2025, could the Leyton Orient sensation come back to bite his old employers with a potential promotion rival?
The Daily Mail reports that West Ham have an interest in League One’s Player of the Season.
Rubin Colwill – Cardiff City
Another of League One’s brightest talents, Colwil helped Cardiff finish second behind Lincoln City alongside the aforementioned Lawlor and former West Ham goalkeeper Nathan Trott.
Watch out for his knuckleball free-kicks.
Yousef Salech – Cardiff City
A towering, 6ft 5ins centre-forward, Salech scored 15 goals for the Bluebirds in 2025/26 despite missing a number of months through injury.
Reiss Nelson – Arsenal
Nelson is expected to leave Arsenal after a forgettable loan at Brentford. Now 26, the former England Under-21 international needs to finally find a club he can call home.
Dwight McNeil – Everton
David Moyes praised McNeil’s attitude after he bounced back from the most testing spell of his Toffees career in the spring. It won’t be easy convincing a man with nearly 250 Premier League appearances – plus 35 assists – to drop down a division.
Matias Soule – Roma
One of the more bizarre links of the summer. Despite reports in Italy claiming that talks have taken place, Soule is valued by Roma at a highly-prohibitive £40 million.
Million Manhoef – Stoke City
One of the standout talents of a poor Stoke squad. Manhoef was a star in the Eredivisie with Vitesse Arnhem and has been a big hit in Staffordshire. Ultra-versatile, there is hardly a position in which Manhoef has not played.
Abdul Fatawu – Leicester City
Fatawu has so much in common with Jarrod Bowen that links with the Leicester talisman bring to mind the phrase ‘succession plan’. Fatawu has quite the catalogue of stunning goals, including one from his own half against Ipswich.
Troy Parrott – AZ Alkmaar
A Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate, Parrott is leaving AZ Alkmaar after breaking the 30-goal barrier last season. In the World Cup play-offs, he became the first since Robbie Keane in 2014 to score a hat-trick for the senior Republic of Ireland side.
Chibuike Nwaiwu – Trabzonspor
A source ‘close to the player’ alleges that West Ham are keen on Nigeria international Nwaiwu despite a reported £30 million price-tag. A towering 6ft 4ins centre-back with an eye for goal, he has claimed silverware in Nigeria, Austria and Turkey.
Nestory Irankunda – Watford
Exciting forward with an eye for the spectacular. West Ham were linked with Irankunda shortly after he scored Australia’s first goal at the 2026 World Cup.
Amario Cozier-Duberry – Brighton and Hove Albion
According to The Athletic, West Ham are long time admirers. A former Arsenal youngster, Cozier-Duberry helped Bolton secure their return to the Championship with some truly extraordinary goals on loan in Lancashire.
Amadou Kone – Neom SC
Formerly of Reims, Kone joined Said Benrahma at Saudi Pro League outfit Neom in 2025. Despite being born in Mali, the 21-year-old midfielder has represented the Ivory Coast at youth level.
Dan Neil – Sunderland
Captained the Black Cats to promotion last year. Neil is out of contract this summer and his ability to dictate tempo from deep made him an extremely attractive proposition.
Like Pandur, he joined Rangers.
Rafiu Durosinmi – Pisa
A former Viktoria Plzen striker, Durosinmi was linked with the Hammers ahead of the winter and is someone Sparta Prague co-owner Daniel Kretinsky may know well. Likely to leave Pisa following their relegation to Serie B.
Anthony Musaba – Fenerbahce
Well travelled former Dutch Under-21 international who represented Sheffield Wednesday between 2023 and 2025. Musaba made a ‘dream’ move to Turkey in January.
Youssoufa Moukoko – Copenhagen
Former Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Moukoko was linked after Nils Koppen left Copenhagen for West Ham. Still only 21, he scored 18 goals last season in Denmark.
James McAtee – Nottingham Forest
Stylish if slight playmaker who earned comparisons with Cole Palmer when rising through the ranks at Man City. McAtee joined Nottingham Forest towards the end of the Nuno era but struggled for regular starts.
Ruben Vargas – Sevilla
Vargas was one of Switzerland’s stand-out talents at the 2026 World Cup, scoring against both Bosnia and Canada. He could leave Sevilla on a cut-price fee due to the La Liga giants’ financial concerns.
Simon Adingra – Sunderland
According to reports in France, West Ham have already held talks with Adingra. He enjoyed a successful loan spell at Monaco after struggling to break into the Sunderland team, but could be a revelation in the Championship.
Gustavo Sa – Famalicao
Sources in Portugal seem convinced that £17 million-rated Gustavo Sa will end up at West Ham. The rangy playmaker made his Primeira Liga debut under Nuno’s long-standing assistant coach, Rui Pedro Silva, in 2022.
Evander – FC Cincinatti
Brazilian Evander boasts a staggering record in the MLS. In 101 appearances across the Atlantic, he provided 51 goals and 41 assists.
Gabriel Pereira – Copenhagen
Towering South American centre-back Koppen knows from his time at Copenhagen.
Connor Barron – Rangers
Another Koppen has watched first-hand, West Ham’s new director helped bring Barron to Ibrox from Aberdeen in 2024. He is a solid, if unspectacular, defensive midfielder.
Bastien Meupiyou – Alverca
A former France youth international, Meupiyou would never make a league appearance for Wolves but has blossomed into one of Europe’s most coveted defensive prospects with Alverca.

Mory Gbane – Reims
Capped twice by Ivory Coast, Mbane looks set to leave Reims after his side failed to secure promotion out of Ligue 1. He is a deep-lying midfielder renowned for his quality in possession.
Sorba Thomas – Stoke City
Barking-born Sorba Thomas is reportedly a potential Summerville replacement. He was released by West Ham as a kid and, after climbing his way back up from non-league, hit double figures for both goals and assists in the 2025/26 Championship season.
Emam Ashour – Al Ahly
One of the breakout talents at the 2026 World Cup. Ashour scored twice in five matches as Egypt reached the last-16, including a thumping long-range drive against Belgium.
Denil Castillo – FC Midtjylland
Castillo has been likened to Moises Caicedo, his fellow Ecuadorian. A versatile, all-action midfielder with an extremely broad skillset.
Patrick Berg – Bodo/Glimt
Another who stood out ahead of his more vaunted teammates at the World Cup. Berg is a legend at Bodo/Glimt and caught the eye at the ‘Festival of Football’ with his impressive ball-carrying skills from deep.
Tommy Watson – Brighton and Hove Albion
A year after scoring the winner during Sunderland’s play-off final victory over Sheffield United, waifish winger Watson could return to the Championship in pursuit of more regular game time.
Michel-Ange Balikwisha – Celtic
Much to the confusion of many Celtic fans, Balikwisha is someone Koppen is looking at despite a disastrous debut season north of the border. Speedy left winger did win a trio of trophies at Royal Antwerp, though.
Reo Hatate – Celtic
Comfortably the stand-out talent in Scottish football a couple of years ago, Hatate endured a difficult 2025/26 and looks likely to leave Celtic under a cloud. At his best, a wonderfully gifted technician with a fierce long-range shot.
