Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been linked with a move to West Ham United all summer long.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is incredibly close to joining West Ham this summer by all accounts, but nothing has been made official yet.
The 26-year-old fleet-footed right-back will be a huge upgrade on Vladimir Coufal at the London Stadium, if Julen Lopetegui manages to get a deal for him over the line.
However, the elephant in the room has to be addressed – the fact that he is seemingly only moving to the London Stadium because he’s been offered more money is a big concern.
Let’s hope that his performances render that concern as null and void.
He has absolutely everything we currently lack in the team, what with his explosive pace, energy levels and athleticism.
In my view, signing Wan-Bissaka for £15 million should be an absolute no-brainer for the Hammers, but it seems like the board are determined to get Manchester United to lower that fee.
And now the 20-time league winners are expecting West Ham to do something specific.

So nothing is done yet quite clearly.
It has been claimed that Wan-Bissaka is very keen indeed to move to the London Stadium this summer, and he apparently has already agreed personal terms with the Hammers.
However, whilst personal terms have been agreed, a fee still needs to be settled on with Man United.
And now a new claim has emerged about what the Premier League giants are expecting the Hammers to do.
According to a report from The Mirror, the 26-year-old Manchester United right-back is still viewed as Lopetegui’s ‘top transfer target’.
Man United are reportedly expecting a new bid to arrive from the Hammers for Wan-Bissaka imminently.
The Red Devils are demanding around £15 million for the defender, whilst West Ham have offered £10 million.
With Manchester United desperate to sell the former Crystal Palace man to the Hammers in order to push through their move to sign Noussair Mazraoui, they will surely meet us in the middle – somewhere around £12-13 million.
It has been suggested that the Hammers and Man United are both prepared to compromise on a fee for the 26-year-old right-back.
Hopefully West Ham will wrap up a deal to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka within the next few days. He will be a transformational signing for us.
