West Ham United fans are absolutely buzzing, with a deal for Aaron Wan-Bissaka moving nearer and nearer to completion every day.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been a transfer target for West Ham since last summer, and now we could finally get our man.

It has been suggested that the Hammers and Man United are both prepared to compromise on a fee for the 26-year-old right-back.

The Red Devils originally wanted £15 million for him with West Ham prepared to pay £10 million, so we will probably meet them in the middle somewhere.

What a signing Wan-Bissaka will be for us, and it goes without saying that he’d be a huge upgrade on Vladimir Coufal at the London Stadium.

However, the elephant in the room has to be addressed – the fact that he is seemingly only moving to the London Stadium because he’s been offered more money is a big concern.

Let’s hope that his performances render that concern as null and void.

If he is fully committed to proving himself at the London Stadium and getting into the England international fold, he will be a big player for us.

So the 26-year-old seems to be set to leave Old Trafford after five years with Manchester United.

Back in 2019 he joined Man United from Crystal Palace for around £50 million, but he has never quite lived up to the lofty expectations that were placed on his shoudlers.

That’s not to say that he isn’t an exceptional player because he almost certainly is.

The former Palace man is one of the quickest defenders in world football, and there aren’t many better at sprinting back into position when opposition teams try to play counter attacking football.

Wan-Bissaka is an elite tackler, and his ability to man-mark wingers out of games could be very useful indeed for us.

Now it seems like a deal to bring him back to London could only be a matter of time.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Wan-Bissaka is ‘very keen’ to complete a move to join the Hammers this summer.

Hopefully this one gets done as soon as possible, because Wan-Bissaka would genuinely take us to another level entirely.

Owen Hargreaves once labelled him as ‘unplayable’ (TEAMtalk), and when he’s on form he is almost impossible to beat.

His pace, power and tenacious tackling will give us such a different facet to our play, and the link up with Jarrod Bowen could be a really dangerous one.

West Ham signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer will be big news, and the fact that he’s so keen to join us should help the deal progress seamlessly.
