The compromise Manchester United are willing to make with West Ham for Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is quite clearly a priority transfer target for West Ham United this summer.

It has been claimed that there is currently a gap in valuation between the two clubs, with the Hammers valuing him at £10 million and Manchester United asking for £15 million.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is exactly the kind of player West Ham should be signing this summer, and he’d be a huge upgrade on Vladimir Coufal.

The interesting thing here is that Man United are desperately trying to sell the 26-year-old right-back to the Hammers, so that they can then proceed with their move to sign Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.

West Ham should be in a good position to bring the former Crystal Palace man to the London Stadium this summer, but the owners obviously don’t want to pay £15 million to make the deal happen.

However, with the addition of a new right-back such a necessity this summer, I really do feel that the Hammers board need to push the boat out here.

West Ham will be a completely different team with a right-back who possesses explosive pace – it will help us change the way we play.

Wan-Bissaka’s pace will enable us to press higher up the pitch as a team, and be more aggressive in the way that we defend.

Now it seems like the full-back is close to swapping Old Trafford for the London Stadium, with a compromise set to be reached between both clubs…

Man United willing to make Aaron Wan-Bissaka compromise with West Ham

The 26-year-old joined Man United in 2019 from Crystal Palace in a deal believed to be worth a whopping £50 million.

He has been a solid performer for the Red Devils, but has never hit the heights that were expected of him.

That’s probably because he isn’t the greatest going forward. However, West Ham need a proper defender right now, and his attacking output is something that can always be worked on and improved.

Now it seems like we could be very close indeed to bringing the Manchester United star back to London.

Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth claims that a compromise could now be reached between the Hammers and Man United regarding the deal for AWB:

West Ham need to get a deal done for the Man United full-back as a matter of urgency.

In this day and age, £10-15 million for a top quality, Premier League proven full-back is absolutely nothing.

The Hammers have neglected the full-back positions for far too long now, and it’s time that changed.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka seems to be close to joining West Ham this summer, and if he does move to East London, we should all be very excited indeed.

Striker and midfielder to follow Wan-Bissaka to West Ham

Once a deal for the 26-year-old Man United star is complete, Lopetegui will surely switch his attention to bolstering other areas of his squad.

If the Hammers are to be competitive on all fronts this season and beyond, the Spaniard needs to sign a proper centre-forward, and a powerful, box-to-box midfielder to compliment Edson Alvarez.

Jhon Duran is clearly the West Ham head coach’s priority target, but a move to sign Niclas Fullkrug seems to be the deal that he is pursuing now.

It remains to be seen which striker ends up at London Stadium, but Duran would be the far better option in my opinion.

Hopefully the interest in the German is a ploy by the Hammers to get Villa to lower their asking price for the Colombia international.

Then we come to the central midfield department. Youssouf Fofana would be a brilliant signing, and Lopetegui apparently wants to bring him to the London Stadium.

However, the Frenchman seems to be keen to join AC Milan instead this summer, so that deal may be a hard one to get over the line.

The additions of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Duran and Fofana would take West Ham to another level entirely.

Whether or not Lopetegui is able to bring those players to the London Stadium remains to be seen though.
