Exclusive: West Ham have shared an ominous 10-word D-Day transfer update from the club’s top inside source as the clock ticks down.
We reported yesterday that West Ham were looking at a three in and three out scenario going into the last 24 hours of the January transfer window.
The Hammers were targeting deadline beating deals for attackers Jota and Ibrahim Osman as well as Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.
But so far there have been no arrivals to add to the signing of Kalvin Phillips. And there are just over 12 hours until Thursday night’s 11pm deadline.

There has also been no confirmation of the expected departures either. Said Benrahma looked set to join Lyon. Midfielder Pablo Fornals had reportedly all but sealed a return to Spain with Real Betis.
And flop Maxwel Cornet has been linked with a move away from West Ham, to Notts Forest.
So what is the state of play for West Ham going into the final few hours of the window?
Hammers News reached out to the most senior contact inside West Ham to ask the question.
And here’s West Ham’s ominous 10-word D-Day transfer update from the top inside source as the clock ticks down.

West Ham’s ominous 10-word D-Day transfer update
“It is proving tough to get players in or out,” the key high level source told Hammers News.
We’d love to repeat the words of West Ham’s much-loved late former chairman David Gold by telling supporters “Don’t go to bed.”
But it seems increasingly unlikely the Hammers will have time to get multiple targets in the building.
Manager David Moyes has however give a glimmer of hope there could be at least one new arrival before the clock strikes 11pm.
Now it is over to technical director Tim Steidten and majority owner David Sullivan to try and make that happen with the Hammers boss now fully focused on the big game against Bournemouth.
While it has been a quiet window across the board, West Ham’s Prem rivals Fulham and Wolves are moving on a number of longstanding Hammers targets.
Fulham have launched a stunning late bid to sign two West Ham targets.
And Wolves look set to succeed where West Ham failed by signing a Steidten striker target.
