Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to sign another centre-forward in January.
Michail Antonio is currently our only recognised senior striker.
And that quite clearly isn’t good enough for a club with aspirations of challenging both domestically and on the continent.
The addition of another centre-forward in January will be a necessity if West Ham are to continue our push for a top four place after the new year.
And it seems as though Moyes has his eyes set on one forward in particular.
Strong chance West Ham could sign Adam Hlozek due to Daniel Kretinsky
The Czech billionaire’s imminent investment into the Hammers could lead to one of Europe’s most exciting young strikers coming to the London Stadium.
That’s according to ExWHUemployee.
Ex told the West Ham Way podcast:
“Daniel Kretinsky is a 40% shareholder at Sparta Prague. They’ve got a forward called Hlozek and he’s highly rated. There’s a strong chance the striker signing could be him.”
West Ham signing Adam Hlozek in January with the help of Daniel Kretinsky would be very exciting indeed.
The 19-year-old was recently described as a potentially world-class striker by Goal.
The Czech Republic International bagged 15 goals and eight assists in 19 league games for Sparta last season. The term, he has racked up four goals and seven assists in 13 league games (Transfermarkt).
Hlozek is clearly a player who could become a truly elite forward in the game.

And if West Ham can sign him for the reported fee of around £15 million (Aktualne), it would be truly exceptional business for us.
