West Ham fans have taken to Twitter after our hectic fixture list following the international break emerged.
Following the Hammers’ clash with Wolves on November the 20th, we face 12 games in just 37 days in what looks like an incredibly daunting run.
West Ham have two European games – away against Rapid Vienna and home to Dinamo Zagreb.
We have a Carabao Cup quarter-final clash with Tottenham slotted in just before Christmas.
The bread and butter though will be our Premier League games against Manchester City, Burnley, Arsenal, Watford and Crystal Palace all away and Brighton, Chelsea, Norwich City and Southampton all at home.
David Moyes will have a very good idea where his team stands after New Year’s Day.
The fact that we have a very small squad is very worrying though.
What happens if Michail Antonio, Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek or Aaron Cresswell suffer any kind of serious injury?
I guess we just have to hope that we emerge from the next stage of games unscathed. And perhaps then a few good signings in January will set us up perfectly for a push for a top four finish.
West Ham fans very concerned by hectic fixture list leading up to Christmas
The Hammers are currently sitting in third spot in the Premier League table.
We have a three point lead over fifth placed Arsenal and are six points clear of sixth placed Manchester United.
If we can emerge unscathed from the next six weeks of action or so, then we will be in great shape to achieve something very special this season.
And it can’t be underestimated just how good the atmosphere at the London Stadium is as well as the tight bond between players, fans and manager.
In spite of all of that, some West Ham fans are still very concerned about what lies in wait for us after the international break…
