A Premier League striker is reportedly open to joining West Ham United in the January transfer window.
West Ham manager David Moyes will be desperate to sign a top-class striker in the January transfer window.
Someone who the Hammers have been linked with already this month is Jhon Duran of Aston Villa, and we have apparently already made an enquiry for him.
West Ham actually tried to sign the 20-year-old this time last year, before he joined Villa from Chicago Fire for around £18 million.
Whilst he hasn’t set the world alight at Villa Park, he has still shown glimpses of his quality, and I think he could well be the striker we’ve been crying out for over the past few years.
Now we may well have a second bite at the cherry…

Premier League striker open to joining West Ham in January
Duran is said to be open to joining the Hammers from Aston Villa this winter, according to a report from The Sun.
I think that West Ham should be all over this, and really be pushing Villa for the Colombian’s signature, despite the fact that we’ve already been knocked back once.
Duran would be absolutely perfect for the way that we play, and I reckon he’d take us to a whole new level entirely.
He’s only racked up four goals and one assist in 35 games for Villa, but he’s only played 783 minutes during those games, and has never been given a run of starts (Transfermarkt).
Don’t let that poor record fool you, Duran has genuinely top-class ability, and he’s perfectly suited to Moyes’s system.
The South American star is absolutely brilliant in the air and possesses really impressive pace. It goes without saying that he’d be a huge upgrade on Michail Antonio and at just 20, he has so many more levels yet to reach.
If the striker really is open to joining West Ham in the January transfer window, Moyes has to pull out all the stops to bring him to the club in my opinion.
