Mavropanos spoke exclusively to Hammers News yesterday, and shared how excited he is about joining the Hammers.

Konstantinos Mavropanos fails West Ham medical

That’s according to Santi Aouna.

The French football journalist took to Twitter this afternoon to share the shock news about the Greece international:

Now, Aouna is hardly the most reliable when it comes to West Ham stories.

However, he has 217k followers on Twitter and writes for fairly respectable French media outlet Foot Mercato.

Surely he wouldn’t just completely make something up?

Let’s just hope that there is a minor complication regarding Konstantinos Mavropanos’s move to West Ham. If we do end up missing out on signing him, it will be a very big blow indeed for the Hammers.
