West Ham appear to be closing on the signing of Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart in the summer transfer window.

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs a new central defender at the London Stadium, having sold Craig Dawson in January and with Angelo Ogbonna on the wrong side of 35.
And it seems as though the Scot is very close indeed to having a new defender amongst his ranks…

According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, the Greek ace is currently undergoing his medical and could even be in attendance for the West Ham vs Chelsea clash.
Sheth tweeted:
Getting the Mavropanos signing completed as soon as possible will be crucial for West Ham, with some really tough games on the horizon.
The former Arsenal man is an elite centre-back and has everything needed to succeed in the Premier League.
He is a much more mature and all-round better defender than the young man who left Arsenal.
And hopefully we get to see him in the crowd for the West Ham vs Chelsea game.
