A reporter close to David Sullivan has made a big Gianluca Scamacca claim just nine months into his West Ham United career.
Claret and Hugh – a website with close links to West Ham owner David Sullivan, has claimed that Gianluca Scamacca could be sold this summer.

Personally, I think that West Ham boss David Moyes should keep Scamacca at the London Stadium – he is such a talented footballer.
However, it seems as though his days in East London could well be numbered…

The Italy international has spent a lot of time on the sidelines though injury this season, and was recently ruled out for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign after undergoing knee surgery.
That really was a big blow for West Ham and the player himself of course.
And Claret and Hugh reckon that Scamacca’s lengthy injury layoff has made it even more likely that he will moved on from the London Stadium this summer.

The striker joined the Hammers from Sassuolo in the summer of 2022 for around £30 million (Independent).
He has struggled to make much of an impact at the London Stadium though. That’s mostly because Moyes’s system doesn’t really suit the Italian.
However, the 24-year-old is a really special striker in my opinion, and has so much more to give.
Should West Ham sell Scamacca this summer, I believe it could end up being a grave error from the club. Let’s hope that Moyes makes the right call and keeps the former Sassuolo striker at the club. I really believe he could go on to become a great striker for us.
