Lyon allegedly could be set to replace Lucas Paqueta this summer with another West Ham United transfer target.
That’s according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport who claim that Lyon manager Peter Bosz is keen to bring Arthur to the Groupama Stadium as a direct replacement for Paqueta.

West Ham are closing in on a deal to sign the 25-year-old Brazilian.

With Paqueta soon to be a West Ham player, Moyes surely won’t pursue a move to sign Arthur as well. And I seems a though Lyon could nab him from Juventus in an ironic twist…
Lyon eyeing Arthur swoop with Lucas Paqueta set for West Ham
According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, the Ligue 1 outfit are trying to bring Arthur to the Groupama Stadium to replace his countryman, Paqueta.
Arthur Melo is on his way out of Juventus this summer, and Corriere dello Sport reckon that the Brazil international could be available for around €47 million (£39 million).
The Juventus ace is a deep-lying play-maker by trade and he possesses stunning technical ability.
The former Barcelona ace’s passing is the best attribute he has. In 20 Serie A appearances last season, Arthur made 34.9 passes on average per game and recorded a completion rate of 89.7% (Who Scored).

We would have actually liked Arthur at the London Stadium.
Lucas Paqueta is on another level to the Juventus midfielder in our view though, and the Brazil international will undoubtedly be a huge hit at the London Stadium.
At the same time, Arthur will probably go on to be a success at Lyon as well.
This seems as though it’s one that has worked out well for all parties involved.
