David Moyes and Eddie Howe both need to strengthen their respective central midfield ranks this summer.
Moyes is in more urgent need of a top quality addition to his engine room though.
Arthur Melo is on his way out of Juventus this summer, and Corriere dello Sport reckon that the Brazil international could be available for around €47 million (£39 million).

And now it seems as though it could be a straight battle between the two Premier League clubs for the midfielder.
West Ham and Newcastle in for Arthur
TuttoJuve reckon that West Ham and Newcastle are eying up moves to sign the talented Juventus ace this summer.
We think that the former Barcelona man would be an exceptional addition for either the Hammers or the Magpies.
The Juventus ace is a deep-lying play-maker by trade and he possesses stunning technical ability.
The former Barcelona ace’s passing is the best attribute he has. In 20 Serie A appearances last season, Arthur made 34.9 passes on average per game and recorded a completion rate of 89.7% (Who Scored).

West Ham signing Arthur Melo would be a big statement.
He has plenty of experience of playing at the very highest level and is a serial winner with two league titles, a Coppa Italia and a Copa Libertadores to his name.
Football Transfers recently described him as a ‘fantastic’ player.
Let’s just hope that West Ham manage to beat Newcastle to Arthur this summer.
He’d be a truly stunning addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.
