Arsenal have allegedly now offered utility man Ainsley Maitland-Niles to West Ham United this summer.
That’s according to a report from The Evening Standard who claim that Arsenal would prefer to sell the 24-year-old to West Ham rather than loan him out.

The Hammers allegedly face competition from Bournemouth and Fulham for the Arsenal star.
David Moyes still needs to bolster his ranks in multiple positions at the London Stadium.

And with that in mind, it’s no surprise why the Scot would want to bring the versatile Gunners ace to West Ham…
Arsenal offer Ainsley Maitland-Niles to West Ham
The Evening Standard reckon that the Gunners have offered the Hammers the chance to sign the five-capped England international on a permanent deal.
We think he’d be a great addition for West Ham this summer.
Maitland-Niles earns around £52k-a-week at the Emirates (Spotrac). So agreeing personal terms with the five-capped England international should not be a problem for West Ham.
The Goodmayes born ace has energy, pace, power and athleticism in abundance. He embodies everything that the modern day player needs to succeed.
He would provide stiff competition for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek in the middle of the park at the London Stadium.

The 24-year-old can play in both full-back positions and in more advanced roles as well.
Arsenal could demand around £20 million for Ainsley Maitland-Niles (Daily Mail), and signing him for that kind of fee should be an absolute no-brainer for West Ham, considering how many different roles he can fulfil.
Mikel Arteta is ready to sanction the 24-year-old’s exit from the Emirates this summer (The Express).
So perhaps he could be available for even less than the quoted £20 million fee, who knows.
Either way, West Ham signing Ainsley Maitland-Niles this summer would be a very good thing in my view.
Whether the Hammers board are prepared to lay out the money to sign him permanently remains to be seen though.
