Tottenham are lining up a shock move to sign Nayef Aguerd from West Ham in the summer.
West Ham United centre-back Nayef Aguerd is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the summer transfer window according to a report from Jeunes Footeux.

And West Ham will apparently consider selling the Tottenham target, 27, for around €55-60 million (£48-52 million).

Aguerd joined the Hammers from Rennes in the summer for around £30 million (Sky Sports). The 28-capped Morocco international is widely considered to be David Moyes’s best signing from the summer of 2022.
He has really impressed at the London Stadium and has already drawn the attention of Liverpool.
Now Spurs apparently want to get in on the act…
Tottenham want to sign Nayef Aguerd from West Ham
French media outlet Jeunes Footeux are claiming that Spurs want to sign the 27-year-old centre-back from the Hammers this summer.
Let’s be real here though. There is absolutely no way on God’s green earth that West Ham will even consider selling one of our best players to our second biggest rivals.
It just won’t happen.
The Hammers just don’t sell players to Spurs these days. The last time a transfer was conducted between the two clubs was when Scott Parker swapped east London for north London back in 2011 for around £5 million.

David Sullivan would have a mutiny on his hands if he allowed Aguerd to leave the London Stadium to link up with Tottenham.
The former Rennes ace has been sensational for West Ham since moving to the Premier League from Ligue 1 in the summer.
Tottenham poaching Nayef Aguerd from West Ham would be a massive backwards step for the club and would be a real sign that the owners lack any kind of ambition whatsoever.
I really can’t see this happening although I will say that in football, nothing would really shock me any more.
