Issa Diop allegedly could leave West Ham United to join newly-promoted Fulham in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from French publication Foot Mercato who claim that Fulham have actually made a £13 million bid for the 25-year-old Hammers centre-back.

That offer has not yet been accepted, but it hasn’t been rejected either (Foot Mercato).
He has one year remaining on his current contract with the Hammers, although the club do have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months.

It seems like this summer is the right time to move Diop on. And it seems as though that’s exactly what David Moyes plans to do…
West Ham could sell Issa Diop
Fulham are keen to bring the 25-year-old defender from East London to West London this summer according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Moyes has already strengthened his centre-back ranks at the London Stadium with the signing of Nayef Aguerd from Rennes.
The Scot is believed to be in the market for another centre-back as well.
So Diop’s future at the club looks bleak to say the least.
We truly believe that selling Diop will 100% be the right decision in the summer transfer window.

After arriving at the London Stadium in the summer of 2018 for around £25 million (The Express), Diop was one of the very best central defenders in the Premier League during his debut season.
The 25-year-old, who earns around £63k-a-week according to Football League FC, experienced a poor 2020/21 campaign though and was nowhere near his best last season either.
The 6ft 4in defender really hasn’t been great for West Ham at all over the past two years in all fairness.
He clearly isn’t good enough to be playing regular Premier League football – not for the Hammers anyway.
And if Fulham are prepared to pay West Ham £13 million for Issa Diop, West Ham should sell him. That’s despite the fact that it would represent a £12 million loss on our original outlay on the 25-year-old.
