The 20-year-old has been in superb form for Wycombe, and has already been compared to Eberechi Eze by the League One club’s official Twitter account.

Hammers boss David Moyes is clearly a big fan of Potts – the Scot gave him three senior appearances last season.
The young midfielder has already drawn comparisons with Declan Rice and whilst he’s nowhere near the 24-year-old’s level yet, the future certainly looks bright for him…
Wycombe Wanderers players’ instant impression of West Ham loanee Freddie Potts emerges
The Athletic claim that Potts’ new teammates have already been amazed with his ability and at how quickly he has settled into life at the club.
The 20-year-old is the real deal in my opinion, and will undoubtedly go on to forge a successful career for himself at the very highest level.

A loan spell with Wycombe in League One should do him the world of good, and I’m hoping that he will return to the London Stadium as a much improved and more mature player.
There is no doubt that the experience of playing every single week against incredibly physical teams will help him become a more well-rounded midfielder.
And I for one can’t wait to see Freddie Potts return from his loan spell with Wycombe Wanderers.
I have really high hopes for the young man.
