West Ham want to sign two absolutely rapid strikers in the January transfer window

West Ham United are being linked with exciting moves to sign two strikers in the January transfer window.

David Moyes is currently really short in the striker department, and the West Ham boss needs to address that issue in the January transfer window.

Hammers trio Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta are all currently suffering with injuries, whilst Mohammed Kudus is away at AFCON with Ghana.

Moyes really is down to the bare bones, and if we’re going to replicate our form from the first half of the season, the Scot needs to bring in some attacking reinforcements.

It seems like that’s exactly what Moyes wants to do, with some really exciting moves for a couple of strikers apparently in the pipeline…

West Ham want to sign two strikers in the January transfer window

According to a report from Football Insider, there are two names on Moyes’s centre-forward short-list this winter – Hugo Ekitike of Paris Saint-Germain and Montpellier hitman Akor Adams.

West Ham have been linked with a move to sign Ekitike, 21, from PSG persistently for the past two years now, whilst Adams, 23, has been on our radar for the past month or so.

I would be over the moon if we signed either of those names. They both possess blistering pace and are brilliant finishers.

With so many forward players currently unavailable for selection, Moyes absolutely has to act in the market this month.

If West Ham manage to sign either one of the two Ligue 1 strikers in the January transfer window, I think we’ll be in a strong position to tackle the second half of the season.
