Arsenal reportedly want to sign West Ham target Orkun Kokcu this summer.
There’s bad news on the horizon for West Ham United, with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta plotting a move to bring Feyenoord ace Orkun Kokcu to the Emirates.

That’s according to a report from The Sun who claim that the Gunners have been tracking the West Ham target for quite some time now.

Hammers boss David Moyes wanted to bring Kokcu to the London Stadium according to Fabrizio Romano.
Unfortunately for us though, the 22-year-old midfielder wasn’t keen on moving to East London. I don’t blame him at the moment do you?
And now things have got even worse for us. Trying to sign the 20-capped Turkey international could well be mission impossible for West Ham…
Arsenal want West Ham target Orkun Kokcu
Feyenoord’s £50 million valuation (talkSPORT) of Kocku already represented a problem for the Hammers. And now the Gunners’ interest in signing him has made our task of bringing him to East London an even harder one.
The Sun reckon that Arsenal are closely monitoring the Feyenoord midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.
He has been described as a ‘stunning’ player by well-renowned football analytical and scouting website Breaking The Lines. Meanwhile, the Mirror label him as an ‘elite’ talent.
Kokcu is great with both feet, is very agile and tenacious, has an impressive engine and is a superb passer of the football.

In 32 Eredivisie games for Feyenoord last season, the 22-year-old bagged seven goals and nine assists. In those outings, the 16-capped Turkey international averaged 1.3 tackles. He made 70.2 passes per game and recorded an 86.1% completion rate (Who Scored).
This term he has eight goals and one assist to his name in 24 league games (Who Scored). The Feyenoord ace is a technically brilliant, tenacious and hard-working midfielder. He’s absolutely perfect for the Premier League.
Orkun Kokcu would be truly tremendous addition for West Ham but unfortunately for us, Arsenal are a far more attractive proposition.
I believe we’ll have no chance of signing the brilliant Turkish midfielder this summer.
