West Ham could sign Spezia centre-forward M’Bala Nzola in the summer transfer window on the cheap.
That’s according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb who claim that West Ham United could pick up M’Bala Nzola from Spezia for just €6 million (£5.3 million).

That’s because the Angola international is out of contract with Spezia in the summer of 2024, and the Serie A outfit do not want to allow him to enter the final year of his contract.

West Ham boss David Moyes will be on the hunt for a new striker this summer, if he is still in charge at the London Stadium of course, with Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca facing uncertain futures with the club.
And now not seems as though the Hammers could pick him up on the cheap…
West Ham eyeing bargain deal for M’Bala Nzola
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the 26-year-old could be snapped up by the Hammers for just £5.3 million this summer.
In addition to that, the Italian media outlet claim that the 26-year-old striker earns just £440,00 per year with Spezia – only £8.5k-a-week.
If we could sign him for just over £5 million, and even if we quadruple those wages, it would be an outstanding deal for us.
The Angola international is an absolute powerhouse of a centre-forward. He seems to be ideally suited to David Moyes’s system at the London Stadium.

Nzola has bagged 14 goals and three assists in 25 games for Spezia so far this season (Transfermarkt).
His career record with the Italian club of 34 goals and eight assists 93 appearances makes for fairly impressive reading as well (Transfermarkt).
The Spezia ace is hard-working and is always willing to run the channels – a prerequisite for any forward who plays under Moyes.
I believe that M’Bala Nzola would be a really useful addition for West Ham, especially for the fees quoted by TMW.
