Manuel Lanzini has made a desperate plea to the West Ham fans ahead of our clash with Southampton on Sunday afternoon.
West Ham United welcome Southampton to the London Stadium for a clash that will be the very definition of a relegation six-pointer.

Manuel Lanzini is someone who should be given a start by David Moyes in my opinion. The Scot needs to set his team up on the front foot with the positive mindset to go out and beat Southampton.
And having someone like the 30-year-old Argentine in the lineup will immediately send out the message that West Ham will try to dictate the tempo of the game.
The home fans will have to be right behind the boys, and we all know that a team on the front foot, playing with attacking intent is so much easier to get behind that a negative one that sits back…
Manuel Lanzini makes plea to West Ham fans
The 30-year-old Hammers star has been speaking to the club’s official website ahead of our huge game against Southampton on Sunday.
And Lanzini urged that West Ham fans to get behind whichever team Moyes selects this weekend:
“It’s going to be a massive match and we’ll need the fans there, right with us. Having them right behind us at London Stadium is like having an extra player. When they are right there with us, it can make the game a bit easier. Of course, no game in the Premier League is easy. We know it’s going to be a tough game but we need the win, the three points, to move up the table.”
Manu is right, we need the London Stadium to be at it’s loudest, boisterous and most vociferous best.
West Ham should have more than enough about us to beat Southampton.
The West Ham players will need the fans to be on their side though, just like Manuel Lanzini suggested.
In order for that to happen, they need to give the home fans something to shout about. Hopefully the team that Moyes selects, and the tactics that he implements, are conducive to that.
