Said Benrahma has apparently done something that means he’s definitely leaving West Ham

West Ham United winger Said Benrahma has experienced a really difficult campaign from a personal perspective this season.

Said Benrahma has been absolutely woeful for West Ham so far this season, and it has been claimed that we’re trying really hard to move him on from the club in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old has fallen well down the pecking order under Hammers boss David Moyes this term, and he’s been an absolute shadow of his former self.

Benrahma has bagged just one assist and no goals in 22 games in all competitions for West Ham so far this season (Transfermarkt) – a woeful return for an attacking player.

It seems for all the world that the 21-capped Algeria international will be leaving the London Stadium this month, and there is now some real evidence that he’ll be on his way…

Said Benrahma has apparently done something that means he’s leaving West Ham

According to Claret and Hugh, a website with very close links to co-owner David Sullivan, the former Brentford man has already moved out of his Essex home.

If that’s not the clearest sign yet that he’s leaving in the January transfer window then I really don’t know what is!

The sooner that Benrahma leaves the London Stadium the better for everyone involved as far as I’m concerned.

West Ham are reportedly trying to sign numerous left wingers including Sunderland’s Jack Clarke and Ajax ace Steven Bergwijn.

Both of those players will be big upgrades on the Algerian winger in my view. In order to bring one of them in though, Said will need to be moved on first.

And judging by the claims that he’s moved out of his home, Said Benrahma seems to be almost certain to leave West Ham before the end of the month.
