West Ham United are open to selling Gianluca Scamacca in the summer but only for a minimum of €50 million (£44 million).

That’s according to a report from Pianeta Milan who claim that AC Milan are keen to sign the 24-year-old West Ham striker.

The Hammers striker has really struggled with injuries and poor form since David Moyes brought him to the London Stadium from Sassuolo in the summer.

Scamacca has shown his unbelievable quality at times but Moyes just hasn’t set his team up to help het the best out of him. Hopefully that will change when he’s fully fit again with West Ham’s seemingly new-found more attacking style.

The 24-year-old was dropped by his representatives World Soccer Agency earlier this week. There were rumours that he wanted out of the London Stadium.

And whilst that isn’t necessarily true, it does seem as though he is a wanted man…

West Ham open to selling Gianluca Scamacca

The Hammers would consider selling the 6ft 5in Italian forward, but only for a minimum of £44 million according to Pianeta Milan.

That’s £8 million more than we signed him for seven months ago.

AC Milan are keen to sign him but it is unclear at the moment as to whether they’re prepared to pay anything like that kind of fee.

I really hope that we keep Scamacca at the London Stadium for many more years to come. He’s a superb striker in my opinion, and we haven’t yet seen the best of him.

The Italian’s ability on the ball, first touch and hold-up play have all been second to none since he arrived. He just needs to improve his work off the ball and the way that he presses.

I’m certain that Gianluca Scamacca will come good at West Ham. It will be such huge shame if Moyes gives up on him too soon and he ends up ripping it up out in Italy.
