David Moyes pulled no punches when asked about £85k-a-week West Ham United player’s awful display vs Manchester United in the FA Cup last night.

Hammers fans will be waking up this morning really disappointed, and rightly so. That game was there for the taking last night.

The Scot spoke to reporters after our defeat at Old Trafford last night.

And Moyes responded when asked whether he was disappointed with Michail Antonio’s performance, as quoted by Football.London:

The 32-year-old really was poor. He missed two glorious chances to score, and he really should have squared the ball for one of his teammates when he was through on goal in the second-half.

Aside from those actions, Antonio’s runs were poor and he just didn’t cause many problems for the Man United defenders by making any runs into the channels.

Antonio, who earns around £85k-a-week at West Ham according to Spotrac, has regressed badly over the past 12 months or so.

His performance last night further highlighted just how far off the pace he is. And David Moyes was obviously disappointed with the West Ham forward’s display against Manchester United as well.
