Jarrod Bowen has just said something that will be the best ever Christmas present for the West Ham United fans.

West Ham star Jarrod Bowen has been in absolutely sensational form so far this season, and he has forged a magnificent relationship with Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta.

Hammers boss David Moyes has been playing Bowen as a centre-forward recently, and the 27-year-old has been thriving.

The former Hull City star has bagged 12 goals and four assists in 22 games in all competitions for West Ham so far this season (Transfermarkt).

Bowen has reached new heights this season, having made himself more unpredictable in and around the penalty area, and Moyes recently suggested that he was more than deserving of the seven-year deal handed to him.

The sky is the limit for the powerful 27-year-old forward, but will he remain at the London Stadium for the remainder of his playing days?

Jarrod Bowen delivers West Ham statement

Next month, Jarrod will have been at the London Stadium for four years. During that time, he has racked up a mightily impressive 52 goals and 35 assists in 180 games for the Hammers (Transfermarkt).

And it seems like there’s plenty more still to come after he told WHUFC.com just how happy he is at West Ham right now:

“This is where I want to be and where I want to play my football. I feel loved and I am a really happy player, that is what gets the best out of you. There are many years to hopefully keep writing my name it the history of this Club.”

There are two parts there that really drew my attention.

1 –‘This is where I want to be and where I want to play my football’, and 2There are many years to hopefully keep writing my name it the history of this Club’.

Jarrod Bowen obviously loves playing for West Ham, and he’s very settled off the pitch with partner Dani Dyer and their young twins.

Judging by his comments above, he is here to stay for the long-term, and that’s one of the very best things for us to hear heading into Christmas.

Bowen is loved by everybody at West Ham, and I have no doubts in my mind that he’ll go on to become a legend in East London.
