A video emerged yesterday on Twitter and it might just change the minds of the West Ham fans about Thilo Kehrer.
Thilo Kehrer joined West Ham in the summer from Paris Saint-Germain for around £13 million (football journalist Tancredi Palmeri).
However, the 26-year–old has really struggled to establish himself with the Hammers in the Premier League under David Moyes.
Kehrer’s form has taken a nose-dive for his country Germany as well – probably a consequence of his low confidence.
I have criticised Kehrer heavily of late. However, it must be said that one thing he does possess is real passion, heart and character.
And the German displayed exactly that in abundance on Sunday afternoon…

The 26-year-old ex-PSG ace is clearly error-prone. I’m so desperate for him to do well at the London Stadium though, purely because of the passion that he displays.
Kehrer was captured showing just how much playing for West Ham means to him on Sunday, via a video from the Hammers’ official Twitter account:
Just look at that reaction from Kehrer to Nayef Aguerd’s goal against Southampton.
It really was wonderful to see and should be a timely reminder to the Hammers fans that all we ask for is that the players give 100 per cent and play for the love of the badge.
If Thilo Kehrer can find a way of cutting the stupid mistakes and poor decision making out of his game, then he could become a really top player for West Ham.
He has one key advantage – his incredible passion and obvious love for the Hammers. Let’s not give up on the German just yet.
