West Ham have a really big problem on our hands with Thilo Kehrer after Germany lost 3-2 to Belgium last night.
Thilo Kehrer, a 25-capped Germany international, joined West Ham United from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window for around £13 million (Tancredi Palmeri).

The 26-year-old has been absolutely awful for West Ham though. His confidence is rock bottom, but the fact that David Moyes keeps moving him from right-back to centre-back certainly hasn’t helped him.

When Kehrer moved to the London Stadium it seemed like the Hammers had secured ourselves a real coup.
However, the exact opposite has proven to be true.
And Kehrer’s shocking season continued last night, this time for his country…
Thilo Kehrer has shocker for Germany vs Belgium
The 26-year-old West Ham defender played the full 90 minutes for Germany during their 3-2 defeat to Belgium last night.
Germany were 2-0 down inside just nine minutes against the Red Devils, with goals from Yannick Carrasco and Romelu Lukaku.

Kehrer was a continual weak-link for the Germans in the centre of defence, and was given a 5/10 rating for his performance by BILD.
The German media outlet describe his performance as ‘amateurish’ and criticised him for ‘bouncing off’ Belgium striker Lukaku. It was suggested by BILD that the West Ham defender had no chance against the Chelsea-owned hitman from the first whistle.
Sounds pretty familiar doesn’t it. The defender needs to improve massively, if he is to have any kind of future at the London Stadium.
Thilo Kehrer keeps getting international caps for Germany, so he must have something about him. Hopefully Moyes manages to find what that is exactly, otherwise the Hammers will have completely wasted £13 million.
