After just 30 Premier League games between them, Gianluca Scamacca and Danny Ings could leave West Ham this summer.

West Ham duo Gianluca Scamacca and Danny Ings were both brought to the London Stadium by David Moyes last summer and in January respectively. However, both have really struggled to establish themselves with the Hammers.

Scamacca, 24, has already been linked with a return to Italy. And whilst no reports are suggesting that Ings, 30, could be on his way just yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if the West Ham owners cut their losses this summer.

The Hammers paid £15 million for Ings, and he is on a whopping £125k-a-week. It was a panic signing from Moyes – nothing more, nothing less.

It is clear to see that the former Aston Villa striker is not suited one little bit to David Moyes’s system at the London Stadium. The same can be said for Scamacca, and I think that both players could leave the club this summer.

It certainly wouldn’t be a surprise at all with Moyes reportedly very keen to sign Senegalese him,an Boulaye Dia.

The Italian has played just 16 Premier League games for the Hammers this season, scoring just three goals. Meanwhile, Ings has made 14 league appearances for West Ham, bagging only two goals.

If Moyes is still in charge at the London Stadium beyond the end of the summer transfer window, I really can’t see either player being with the Hammers next season.

Scamacca is actually a brilliant striker, with technical ability in abundance and if Moyes tweaks his system I still believe he could be a huge success at the London Stadium.

He has just been far too isolated when playing for West Ham this season, and having undergone knee surgery, we won’t see him again until July at the earliest.

Meanwhile, Ings was just a really strange signing from day one. I wouldn’t have minded if Moyes brought him to the club two or three years ago, but it’s clear to see that the 30-year-old is totally shot at this level.

The former Aston Villa, Southampton, Liverpool and Burnley man has absolutely no pace whatsoever, is incredibly low on confidence and isn’t capable of playing up front on his own like Moyes expects his strikers to do. As I said – a really baffling signing from day one.

Gianluca Scamacca and Danny Ings have only played 30 Premier League games between them for West Ham and incredibly, that could be all that we see them play for us.

The Italian definitely won’t play again this season whilst the Englishman seems to be well down the pecking order under David Moyes. It wouldn’t surprise me one little bit if the Scot decides to sell both players in the summer.
