Lucas Paqueta did something that made David Moyes give him a standing ovation
The former Lyon man was exceptional for West Ham at the London Stadium last night, and played a key role in our victory.
And Paqueta showcased an unbelievable piece of skill against Manchester United that clearly wowed his manager:
West Ham boss David Moyes signed Lucas Paqueta from Lyon for a club record £51 million fee in the summer (The Times).
During the early stages of the season, it seemed like the Hammers had massively overspent on the South American.
However, he now looks like an absolute star. He has clearly accustomed to the ferocious pace of Premier League football, and he’ll surely continue to get better and better from here on out.
What an incredible player we have on our hands. The challenge for Paqueta now will be to show a level of consistency and produce the goods for the Hammers over a sustained period of time.
