Rice has actually been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window. And it’s little wonder why the Gunners want to sign him.

What a player Dec is. He has absolutely everything that you want in a modern day central midfielder.
The 24-year-old was head and shoulders above Manchester United’s Casemiro, and that tells everyone all they need to know about him.

Jenas was a co-commentator on BT Sport’s production of the game tonight.
And he absolutely raved about Hammers skipper Rice (BT Sport Sunday May 7th, 7:39pm):

“I have to say, Declan Rice on a couple of occasions with his tracking back and interceptions. It goes to show the intelligence that he has, with so much going on in front of him to understand actually, where are the problems that could occur behind him. It’s one of the biggest roles that you have as a midfield player and he does it brilliantly.”
What a sensational performance it was from Rice tonight.
The 41-capped England international was truly brilliant and absolutely ran the show.
Jermaine Jenas raved about Rice for his performance for West Ham vs Manchester United. However, that’s what he does pretty much every single week!
As Hammers fans, we’re used to it now.
