The 33-year-old has been a fine servant for the Hammers since joining the club from Nottingham Forest for £7 million in 2015 (Daily Mail).

However, Antonio can be incredibly frustrating at times and Jermaine Jenas noticed one really poor bit of play from the Hammers hitman today.

The 33-year-old could have made so much more of a through ball from Lucas Paqueta in just the sixth minute of tonight’s game.
Initially it seemed as though Paqueta’s pass was a little heavy, but Jenas explained how it was Antonio who was at fault, when Darren Fletcher blamed the Brazilian on BT Sport (Sunday May 7th, 7:06pm):

“I think the ball was alright. I think it was his run, his run was odd, it’s like he rushed into the space.”
Jenas is absolute spot on there and it’s a bug bear of mine about Micky.
The 33-year-old always seems to make the wrong run and limits space for his teammates, rather than open up it up.
It’s something that David Moyes and his coaching staff need to address, if the Scot plans on using Antonio as our main striker next season.
Michail Antonio was a constant menace for West Ham vs Manchester United, let’s be fair to him. However, he will never have the natural instinct that strikers need.
