The questionable David Moyes sack dilemma for the West Ham board is likely to be a non-issue come the summer on the latest evidence.
Debate has raged of late regarding the future of David Moyes at West Ham.
In a climate of hire and fire in the Premier League, the Scot has been under intense pressure for some time with a host of managers linked as his potential replacement at West Ham.
Hammers majority stakeholder David Sullivan has been consistent in his backing of Moyes despite West Ham’s struggles.
He has told Hammers News on several occasions that the board stand behind Moyes – including an 11-word backing for the manager last month.
West Ham fans unfurled a banner about Moyes during the welcome but extremely fortunate win at Fulham.

And Hammers supporters also chanted ‘You don’t know what you’re doing’ to the boss.
So it is fair to say the manager is fiercely dividing opinion among fans.
The Times made an absolutely incredible claim this week that West Ham will part ways with Moyes even if he keeps the side up AND they win the Europa Conference League.
Given West Ham have been favourites to win the competition, that is some claim.
Wherever you stand on Moyes it is difficult to imagine a scenario where West Ham part ways with a manager who has led them to a first major trophy in 43 years and three consecutive years of European football.
But the questionable Moyes sack dilemma for the West Ham board is likely to be a non-issue on latest evidence.

At this stage of the Premier League season supporters – and indeed everyone connected with the club – will take wins any which way they come.
But there is no hiding the fact West Ham simply have not performed as a unit for the past 15 months let alone this season.
There’s no cohesion, no clear attacking patterns of play and Moyes has conceded himself his attempts to rebuild the side have failed.
Going into the first leg of the quarter-final against Gent, West Ham were comfortable favourites.
But the performance level continued an all too familiar theme. West Ham were barely able to string four or five passes together let alone have fans believing there is light at the end of the tunnel for Moyes. There is nothing to suggest this team is suddenly going to click and burst into life.

Hammers conundrum over sacking a trophy winning manager likely to be a moot point
Elsewhere, Fiorentina, Nice and Basel all look like cohesive outfits with dangerous players.
Fiorentina in particular are surely new favourites for the competition having blown away Lech Poznan 4-1 away from home.
Of course West Ham are capable of beating any of them on their day. But when was the last time the Hammers beat a really decent side in convincing fashion?
You can’t turn form on and off like a tap – let alone team chemistry – as the last 15 months have proven.
West Ham defended manfully at Fulham but the performance against them was indicative of a much deeper issue – 23% possession being all the damning evidence you need.
West Ham might squeak to safety. But there is nothing in the team’s performances to suggest they are capable of winning the Conference League.
The way West Ham played at Gent – coupled with the fact there are other clubs left who look like proper TEAMS – suggests any talk of a board conundrum over parting ways with Moyes after he’s ended a trophy drought stretching back more than four decades will be a moot point come the summer.
