Wolves have turned the tables on West Ham United with a sly new striker move amid the Danny Ings transfer doubts.
Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers must be sick of West Ham right now.
The Hammers are being heavily linked with Wolves’ captain and talisman Max Kilman.
And after refusing to let Aaron Cresswell join them in the summer, West Ham boss David Moyes has now reportedly hit pause on Wolves’ loan move for striker Danny Ings.
Ings was one of four signings who cost the club £94m that Moyes was happy to ship out.

Wolves turn tables on West Ham with sly new striker move
But Ings’ loan with an option move to Wolves has been halted due to West Ham’s injury crisis affecting Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta against the backdrop of Mohammed Kudus being at AFCON.
West Ham are looking to ship players out in order to clear space for new signings, with a forward high on the list.
One player being heavily linked once again is PSG outcast Hugo Ekitike.
Transfer reporter Rudy Galetti exclusively told Hammers News last week that Ekitike was West Ham’s most likely attacking signing this month.
But now Wolves have turned the tables on West Ham with a sly new striker move amid the Ings doubts.

Wolves Ekitike threat after Ings twist
According to Sky Sports, Wolverhampton are now looking to try and sign Ekitike – who held talks with Hammers technical director Tim Steidten in the summer.
The good news for West Ham is that Gary O’Neil’s side are yet to make a formal approach.
“Paris Saint-Germain striker Hugo Ekitike is a potential target for Wolves in this window,” the report states.
“Wolves are looking for a No 9 as they’ve let Sasa Kalajdzic and Fabio Silva leave the club this month on loan.
“No approach has been made just yet for Ekitike.”

Let the mind games begin
It’s a clever tactic from Wolves this. Of course they may well be genuinely interested. But there could also be some transfer window mind games at play here.
Wolves could be saying to West Ham: ‘Do the deal for Ings or we’ll go after your target while you hesitate’.
According to our interview with Galetti, Ekitike already has a broad agreement in place to join the Hammers this winter.
But there has been no talks between West Ham and PSG over a deal as yet.
