Hammers boss David Moyes has been linked with January moves to sign David (TEAMtalk) and Ikone (Calciomercato).

David, 21, is apparently available for around £25 million (The Guardian) and Ikone, 23, could cost somewhere in the region of £21 million (In News 24).

West Ham desperately need to bolster our attacking options in January if we are to maintain our place inside the top four between now and May.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

And we think that the Lille duo would both be superb additions for the Hammers. In fact, just one of them would do.

Jonathan David and Jonathan Ikone on fire in the Champions League

Ikone bagged two assists whilst David scored a goal during Lill’e 3-1 Champions League win over Wolfsburg last night.

The Ligue 1 side subsequently topped their group as a result.

The Lille duo are really exciting talents.

Both Ikone and David can play anywhere along the front-line and they possess blistering pace.

The French and Canadian forwards seem to have all of the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League.

Their alleged £25 million and £21 million price-tags should not put us off either. Signing either one of the Lille stars for that kind of money would represent excellent value for West Ham.

David Moyes absolutely must address our attacking weakness as far as squad depth goes in January.

And we could do a lot worse than either David or Ikone.

If West Ham can get their hands on just one of the two Lille players January, we will be in very good shape heading into the second half of the season.
