West Ham United could be set to make a blockbuster bid for a truly incredible striker in the January transfer window.
A fresh striker bid could be incoming from West Ham it seems, as David Moyes looks to make a big statement signing in the January transfer window.
The Hammers currently have Michail Antonio out injured, and Jarrod Bowen has been operating as a centre-forward in the 33-year-old’s place.
Despite Bowen’s brilliance, I still feel like he’s more of a threat when playing out wide on the right hand side.
And the thought of Moyes signing an elite striker to play in between Jarrod and Lucas Paqueta and just in front of Mohammed Kudus is an extremely exciting one.
It now seems like the West Ham boss is determined to make that happen…

West Ham plotting January bid for unbelievable striker
According to a report from TuttoJuve, West Ham are now prepared to pay more than €70 million (£60 million) for Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface – a player we’ve already been linked with signing this month.
What an incredible signing this would be for the Hammers, and if Moyes manages to move on some of the deadwood like Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma and Danny Ings, it may well be a realistic one for us.
Boniface is an elite centre-forward, and would take us to a whole new level entirely.
He has bagged a really impressive 16 goals and eight assists in 23 games for Bayer Leverkusen this season (Transfermarkt).
Boniface is an absolute powerhouse, and is tailor made for Moyes’s system at the London Stadium.
The 23-year-old has power and pace in abundance, just like Antonio, but he is a far superior finisher to the 33-year-old and is on another level entirely when it comes to his technical ability.
If West Ham are seriously lining up a bid for the Leverkusen striker in January, it will be a real sign that we have hugely ambitious plans.
