West Ham have already made contact to sign Alexandre Lacazette from Arsenal in January according to a report from Jeunes Footeux.

The 30-year-old Arsenal hitman is out of contract at the Emirates in the summer, so will be available for a cut-price fee in January or on a free transfer in the summer.

After moving to the Emirates from Lyon in the summer of 2017, Lacazette has gone on to rack up 67 goals and 29 assists in 174 games for the Gunners (Transfermarkt).

It seems as though Lacazette’s days in north London could now be over though.

West Ham make contact to sign Alexandre Lacazette

The Arsenal centre-forward is a transfer target for the Hammers’ according to Jeunes Footeux.

The Gunners will actively try to sell Lacazette in January and West Ham are thought to have already made contact with the French hitman’s representatives.

We think Lacazette would be a fine addition for West Ham. The way in which he links up play and holds up the ball makes him the perfect foil for Antonio at the London Stadium.

He has incredible tight ball control in and around the penalty area and is great at finding his way out of crowded spaces.

The Frenchman’s wages will undoubtedly be a problem. Lacazette earns around £182k-a-week at the Emirates (Spotrac).

If he is available for a bargain fee in January or on a free transfer in the summer, however, West Ham might just have a chance of signing him.
