Oladapo Afolayan left West Ham for Bolton Wanderers in the summer after spending a successful four-month loan spell with the Trotters perviously.

David Moyes allowed the young forward to leave the London Stadium back in the summer.
At the time it seemed like the right decision.
Afolayan had done next to nothing for the senior team and he was 24 after-all.

Now it seems like West Ham may have made a mistake, however.
Oladapo Afolayan left West Ham for Bolton Wanderers and he’s absolutely on fire
The striker has been in exceptional form for the Trotters this season.
Afolayan has bagged seven goals and two assists in just 13 games so far (Transfermarkt).

Nine goal involvements in 13 games really is a truly brilliant return. He has been deployed in the left wing position for all of those games as well.
His fine form has helped Bolton force their way up to seventh position in the League One table.
Some may argue that the 24-year-old has found his level. Others may say that West Ham gave up on Afolayan too soon.

Only time will tell as to whether Moyes is proved right in his decision to let the young forward leave East London.
At the moment, however, the Bolton attacker is certainly proving the powers that be at West Ham wrong.
And good luck to him.
