The big Czech was back to his best against Everton this afternoon at Goodison Park.
He was unlucky to have a goal chalked off inside the first-half and did not stop running.
The former Slavia Prague ace got really stuck in to his opponents and he won absolutely everything in the air.

Soucek’s afternoon was cut short with around 12 minutes to go, however.
Salomon Rondon smashed the 26-year-old in the face with his studs – unintentionally it must be said.

When he went down screaming after feeling the wrath of Rondon’s boot, everyone knew it must have been bad.

We have some very important games coming up with Genk in the Europa League, Tottenham in the Premier League and Manchester City in the Carabao Cup on the horizon.
He certainly showed today that he is getting back somewhere near his best.
