West Ham fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the performance of Tomas Soucek against Everton this afternoon.

The 26-year-old Hammers ace has been somewhat off form so far this season.

That has mostly been down to the new role that David Moyes has asked him to play.

Soucek has been sitting in front of the back four whilst Declan Rice bombs forward.

Moyes reverted to type against Everton this afternoon, however.

Soucek was deployed in his usual more advanced role. And the Czech Republic international looked like his old self.

The former Slavia Prague man is one of the most important players Moyes has at his disposal at the London Stadium. And he proved that yet again this afternoon.

West Ham fans react on Twitter to Tomas Soucek display vs Everton

Soucek was unlucky to have a goal chalked off during the first-half. He was absolutely everywhere and didn’t stop running for his team.

Moyes must now see that utilising big Tom in a more advanced role is the way forward.
