Lewis-Potter is allegedly a key transfer target for Hammers manager David Moyes this summer.
The young forward is a really exciting talent, so missing out on his signature to Brentford would have undoubtedly been a big blow for West Ham.

It seems as though the Hammers have been gifted another chance to secure the signing of Keane Lewis-Potter though…
West Ham handed huge Keane Lewis-Potter boost
Brentford were thought to be in prime position to sign the 21-year-old Hull City ace but their £20 million bid for him has been knocked back according to a report from The Express.
And as a result, the Bees allegedly could switch their attention to Wolfsburg winger Omar Marmoush (The Express).
West Ham have been gifted a chance here to bring Lewis-Potter to the London Stadium and David Moyes can’t afford to pass it up. The 21-year-old is that good.

Lewis-Potter operates mostly as a left or right winger but he can also play through the middle as a centre-forward.
He was on fire in League One for Hull in the 2020/21 season, bagging 13 goals and six assists in 43 league games (Transfermarkt).
And the youngster bagged 12 goals and four assists in 46 games last term (Transfermarkt).
Lewis-Potter is a real live-wire, has impressive pace and is a very good finisher. In many ways, he is similar to his old teammate Jarrod Bowen.
Ex-Hull boss Grant McCann recently described the talented 21-year-old as an ‘excellent player’ (Hull’s official website).
The young attacker seems to have all of the tools needed to go on and succeed in the Premier League.
And West Ham absolutely have to act after Brentford’s alleged £20 million bid for Keane Lewis-Potter was rejected.
