West Ham United are allegedly ready to spend ‘big money’ on talented Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer.

That’s according to a report from The Athletic who claim that the Hammers are ready to go big for the 20-year-old striker but as things stand, nobody is actually sure as to what Chelsea want to do with him.

It is common knowledge that Broja is a key transfer target for West Ham manager David Moyes this summer.

The Scot desperately needs to bring in more competition and cover for Michail Antonio at the London Stadium before the start of the new season.

And Chelsea hitman would be the absolutely ideal addition to Moyes’s ranks in the summer.

It seems as though West Ham are ready to go big for Broja but the Albanian’s future at Stamford Bridge is still up in the air…

West Ham ready to spend big on Chelsea striker Broja

The Athletic reckon that nobody actually knows whether the striker has a future at Stamford Bridge under Thomas Tuchel.

West Ham are allegedly ready to splash some serious cash on Broja but whether or not Chelsea can be tempted into selling him remains to be seen.

What an unbelievable signing Broja would be for the Hammers. He’s literally the perfect striker for David Moyes’s system.

Moyes should be doing everything in his power to bring the absolute unit of a striker to the club this summer.

He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Broja seems to be ideally suited to West Ham and considering the way in which he stretches the opposition with tireless runs into the channels, it’s easy to see why Moyes wants to sign him.

The Chelsea owned ace is strong, quick and is a really, really good finisher. Broja bagged nine goals and one assist in 36 games for Southampton last term (Transfermarkt).

It is his all around game that has been the most impressive thing about him though. The way in which he holds up the ball with his back to goal and brings others into play has been truly magnificent to watch.

Chelsea could demand as much as €70 million (£60 million) for Broja this summer according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb.

We can’t see West Ham paying anywhere near that for the 20-year-old Albania international.

Perhaps a fee closer to £40 million would be more reasonable.

And if West Ham sign Broja from Chelsea for somewhere around that kind of fee, we think it would be good business for the East London outfit.
