Chelsea could use West Ham United target Armando Broja as part of a blockbuster deal to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

That’s according to a report from talkSPORT who claim that Chelsea are eyeing a blockbuster £80 million move for Osimhen and could use Armando Broja to sweeten the deal.

The 20-year-old hitman is allegedly a prime transfer target for West Ham boss David Moyes this summer and the Chelsea ace is apparently keen to join the Hammers.

Signing a top-class centre-forward will be absolutely vital for Moyes this summer if his West Ham team are to compete on all fronts next season.

The same can be said of Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel with Romelu Lukaku having returned to Inter Milan.

Chelsea eyeing a blockbuster deal for Victor Osimhen wouldn’t usually have any kind of impact on the Hammers.

This time though, there has been a really worrying claim made by a top football journalist…

West Ham blow as Chelsea eye blockbuster Osimhen deal

talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook reckons that Napoli value the 23-year-old striker in excess of £80 million.

As a result, Chelsea could send Armando Broja to Naples in an effort to sweeten the deal (talkSPORT).

And it is clear to see that this news is a huge blow for West Ham.

What an unbelievable signing Broja would be for the Hammers. He’s literally the perfect striker for David Moyes’s system.

Moyes should be doing everything in his power to bring the absolute unit of a striker to the club this summer.

He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Broja seems to be ideally suited to West Ham and considering the way in which he stretches the opposition with tireless runs into the channels, it’s easy to see why Moyes wants to sign him.

The Chelsea owned ace is strong, quick and is a really, really good finisher. Broja bagged nine goals and one assist in 36 games for Southampton last term (Transfermarkt).

It is his all around game that has been the most impressive thing about him though. The way in which he holds up the ball with his back to goal and brings others into play has been truly magnificent to watch.

Broja is apparently available for as little as £30 million (Sky Sports) or as much as £40 million (Give Me Sport).

Whatever fee Chelsea want for Broja, West Ham should just pay it.

It seems as though this could all be a moot point though if Chelsea secure a blockbuster deal for Osimhen whilst sending Broja in the opposite direction.
