West Ham are allegedly eyeing a move to sign Fulham attacker Fabio Carvalho in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from The Daily Star who claims that Liverpool and Manchester United want to sign the 19-year-old Fulham starlet as well.

Hammers boss David Moyes has a lot of work to do at the London Stadium in the summer if we are to be competitive on all fronts next season.
The West Ham manager needs to sign two strikers, a top-class centre-back, an elite left-back and a central midfielder.
On top of all of those additions, it could be argued that the Scot needs another winger/attacking midfielder as well. We have really really missed Jesse Lingard this season and with so many attack-minded players now misfiring, Moyes has next to no options at his disposal as far as mixing things up is concerned.

And Carvalho would be an exceptional option for the Hammers. It seems as though we may have our work cut out though…
West Ham summer transfer window swoop for Carvalho unlikely
That’s according to club insiders Claret and Hugh who claim that the Hammers could be going up a blind alley.
In fact, it is suggested that the West Ham owners are fully aware that they have no chance whatsoever of signing Carvalho.
That really is a huge shame. We should have tried a lot harder to sign the teenager when we had the chance.
Carvalho will undoubtedly go on to become an absolute superstar one day. Football League World describe the 19-year-old as an incredible talent.
Carvalho has racked up 33 goals and 19 assists in 82 games for Fulham’s youth teams (Transfermarkt).

He has made a huge impression for the senior team at Craven Cottage as well with eight goals and five assists in 23 games this season (Transfermarkt).
The young attacker is most comfortable when playing on the number 10 position but he can also operate on either wing. He is incredibly gifted from a technical perspective and has all of the attributes needed to make it at the very highest level.
Whichever club wins the race to sign Carvalho on a free transfer in the summer will be getting a seriously good player on their hands. And what an unbelievable coup it will be for absolutely nothing.
It seems like West Ham are missing out on these excellent deals all he time. Hopefully with a better recruitment setup at the London Stadium now, losing out on the likes of Fabio Carvalho will be a thing of the past.
That doesn’t mean that it still won’t be incredibly frustrating to see him playing in a Liverpool or Manchester United shirt next season though!
