David Moyes has shared what he told Said Benrahma when the winger was substituted off during our draw with Newcastle yesterday.
The Hammers played host to Newcastle at the London Stadium yesterday and it was a must-win game for us.

Unfortunately though, the players put in one of their worst performances all season. It really was dreadful.
Newcastle deserved to win the match in fairness. They looked fitter than us, were first to every loose ball and looked far more dangerous than we did when they went forward.
What made matters worse was the fact that those in and around us in the table won their games.

The only West Ham player who could leave the pitch with his head held high yesterday was Craig Dawson.
Everyone else should all be hanging their heads in shame this morning.
Michail Antonio and Tomas Soucek were arguably the two worst performers yesterday afternoon at the London Stadium. Yet they played the full 90 – whilst Benrahma was hooked with 20 minutes left.
Moyes lifts lid on what he said to Benrahma during West Ham and Newcastle draw
The Algerian was not happy one little bit when he was dragged off by Moyes yesterday afternoon.
It was clear to see that he was shouting ‘every time’ in Moyes’s direction. He’s got a point. Yesterday was the 18th time that the Scot has taken Benrahma off – more than any other player in the Premier League.
What did Moyes say back to the 26-year-old Algerian though?
The Hammers boss responded when asked that question by Football.London after the match:

“Yes, that is what I was asking I said ‘run off’ so we can use our time and get our sub on as quick as we can. No, none at all I just asked him to run faster and get off the pitch so we could get the sub on fast and use the time at our home stadium to our best advantage.”
Fair point from Moyes. But surely Antonio or Soucek should have been hooked ahead of Benny, surely!
The Scot certainly does seem to have his favourites. His subs during games are boring, predictable and devoid of any kind of imagination.
We just seem to be far too easy to play against at the moment and Moyes’s in-game management just isn’t as good as it should be.
Regarding Benrahma, he was far form good yesterday but he really didn’t deserve to be hauled off. The Algerian and Moyes clearly aren’t a match made in heaven and it would be no surprise to see the 26-year-old moved on in the summer.
It could be argued that Benrahma needs to leave West Ham in order to fulfil his potential at the very highest level. And that in itself is a real shame.
