West Ham boss David Moyes has been really impressed by Conor Coventry recently and could promote him to the first-team squad next season.
That’s according to a report from Football League World who claim that the Scot has been keeping a close eye on the midfielder’s loan spell with MK Dons.

The 21-year-old is on loan with MK Dons until the end of the season and he has been really impressing in League One.
He left the London Stadium to link up with the Buckinghamshire outfit in January.

MK Dons manager Liam Manning absolutely raved about the young Hammer, when speaking to the MK Citizen:
“We’ve brought in someone who can add to the team and has settled quickly. In a battle, you saw what he could do, and in a footballing game you know what he can deliver. When it’s a scrap, land on seconds and be physical, he can do that as well. When you look at him, he can adapt and impose himself on different types of games.”
This loan spell with MK Dons will do him the world of good. And it seems as though he could be in line for a promotion to the senior side at the London Stadium next season…
Moyes hugely impressed by West Ham ace Conor Coventry
The 21-year-old is really enjoying his football in League One at the moment.
The MK Dons are chasing promotion and playing some really attractive football.

Football League World claims that Moyes has been keeping a close eye on Coventry’s progress at Stadium MK and he has apparently been very impressed with what he has seen.
Coventry is 21 now. He really does need to start producing the goods on a consistent basis at the very highest level, if he is to forge out a Premier League career for himself.
He certainly has the talent. He is very impressive with the ball at his feet. The young Republic of Ireland international played so well for West Ham during pre-season and he clearly had enough about him to feature for the senior team at the London Stadium.
Has he got that X-Factor though? That is highly debatable. Next season will be a hugely important one for Coventry at the London Stadium. And it will very much be a case of now or never as far as his Premier League career is concerned.
Judging by the report from Football League World though, he might have a big part to play in East London next season.
