Both teams desperately need all three points but for very different reasons indeed.

West Ham are flying high, battling for the fourth and final Champions League place. Newcastle, meanwhile, are languishing near the bottom three.

Eddie Howe’s men are in the midst of a fine run of form though, and a win in East London tomorrow would see his Magpies side create some real distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

The Hammers will be well up for this one though. David Moyes’s men just haven’t been anywhere near their best over the past few months and they will know that they owe their manager and the fans a big performance.

It seems as though we could have our work cut-out though…

Nothing less than all three points will do for the Hammers against the Toon tomorrow.

It appears as though preparations haven’t been ideal for the East London club though.

David Moyes addressed the media this afternoon and responded when asked whether he has any fresh injury concerns, as quoted by Football.London:

“We have one or two doubts and questions marks over some players but I will not give that away. I wouldn’t give anything away. We have a couple of knocks. All clubs will have them. We just need to make sure we can be ready for tomorrow.”

Moyes didn’t give much away, so it is unclear as to which players are doubtful for tomorrow’s clash with Newcastle.

By the sounds of it, the unnamed players are struggling with minor knocks, so hopefully they will be fit enough to play tomorrow.

West Ham desperately need a win and we can’t afford to take on Newcastle with an understrength side. Let’s hope that all of the key players are available for selection and we have enough to earn what would be an absolutely massive three points.
