Tottenham Hotspur are imminently set to make a bid to sign West Ham United target Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest.
Johnson would be the perfect summer signing for us as far as I’m concerned. However, it seems as though West Ham will have our work cut out…
West Ham face big problem as Tottenham bid for ‘exceptional’ Brennan Johnson is imminent
Football London reckon that Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is lining up a move to sign the Forest ace, and could make a bid for him imminently.
The Hammers can’t afford to sit around and wait – Moyes absolutely has to try and beat Tottenham to Johnson’s signature.
Johnson is an incredibly exciting young talent. Considering his age, he has put in some really impresses performances for Forest on a very consistent basis. He was recently described as an exceptional talent by former Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton (FLW).
The 22-year-old is absolutely perfect for the Hammers. He can play as a number 10, on either wing or even through the middle as an auxiliary striker.
The Forest ace possesses pace and power in abundance and plays with a fearless directness that we desperately lack right now.
Unfortunately for West Ham though, it seems like Tottenham could be about to sign Brennan Johnson. And that really is a big shame.
