West Ham United could make it a double raid on Chelsea before next Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
The Hammers appear to be edging closer to signing defender Kurt Zouma from Chelsea.
David Moyes has made Zouma his number one centre-back target this summer after Fabian Balbuena left West Ham.

According to Get French Football News, Zouma has even been scheduled in for a medical today ahead of a proposed move to West Ham.
And now ExWHUemployee claims West Ham could well make it a double raid on Chelsea by making a loan move for the likes of Ross Barkley or Ruben Loftus-Cheek before the window slams shut.

“We could even go back in for a Chelsea player on loan too if negotiations with Zouma go to plan,” ExWHUemployee said on The West Ham Way Patreon site.
“RLC, Barkley are a few potential players.”
Both Barkley and Loftus-Cheek have been heavily linked with West Ham in the past.
But neither would get anywhere near the current Hammers starting XI so you would have to question whether the players or Chelsea would see it as a good move.

On the latest West Ham Way podcast Ex suggested that could be true for several other Chelsea players while the Hammers might also look to players on the fringes at the Premier League’s other top clubs.
The deal for Zouma is thought to be around £25m (Sky Sports).
West Ham were the most deadly team in the Premier League from set pieces last season.
Moyes’s side scored 16 goals from set pieces on their way to a sixth place finish, more than any other Premier League team.
If West Ham get Zouma they will be an ever bigger threat from those positions.
