West Ham United are being heavily linked with a move for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma.
David Moyes has made Zouma his number one centre-back target this summer after Fabian Balbuena left West Ham.
According to Get French Football News, Zouma has even been scheduled in for a medical today ahead of a proposed move to West Ham.

Hammers need new centre-back for the long-term as Moyes makes Zouma call
The Hammers need a new defender for the long-term with Angelo Ogbonna turning 34 at the end of the season and Craig Dawson 32.
There remain doubts over Issa Diop’s ability to perform consistently well at the top level. But the potential is there for Zouma and Diop to form a strong partnership in the future.
Sky Sports delivered an update on West Ham’s £25m Zouma deal last night.
And the report highlighted an interesting fact which will make West Ham even more of a formidable force if the deal gets over the line.

Sky Sports report points out something about Zouma that will make West Ham even more deadly from set pieces
West Ham were the most deadly team in the Premier League from set pieces last season.
Moyes’s side scored 16 goals from set pieces on their way to a sixth place finish, more than any other Premier League team.
And they conceded the joint third fewest too.
But the addition of Zouma would make facing West Ham even more daunting for opponents as the French defender hit a brilliant five goals in just 22 Premier League appearances last term.
“Zouma scored five goals last season, which was one of his most prolific in terms of appearances until Thomas Tuchel took over as head coach from Frank Lampard,” Sky Sports reports.

Powerful ace could also add to West Ham’s league-leading counter attack play
Zouma would clearly add yet another string to West Ham’s bow from set pieces.
The Hammers are also the best counter attacking side so far this season and were second last season to Leeds.
Zouma is well known for launching counter attacks from defence with his power and speed as he bursts forward.
Whether West Ham can get the deal over the line remains to be seen.
